Does anybody know how it's possible (if at all) for someone's dial-up internet connection to be hijacked and used to tap into a third party's personal account details for purposes of identity fraud. Apparently it can be done much more easily with a wireless connection. I know of someone who is suspected of ID fraud 'cos her phone line was used. However, she is clearly innocent. |
