| Windows 3.11 (!) problem |

A friend, who is not very computer literate, has a problem with his PC (Windows 3.11, Hungarian version). The problem seems to have occurred after saving a Word file to floppy disc using "Save as...", although this may be coincidental.
When the PC boots up, an error message appears, indicating that it needs some component from the A: drive. After cancelling the message, the desktop forms ok, although there is no longer a window for WinWord.
I've tried, via File Manager, to start WinWord and also Word documents: again, the error messages seem to indicate the system requires something from the A: drive.
I don't know the Hungarian language and I've forgotten the little I knew of Win 3.11. The PC is second-hand: there are no discs from which to reload Windows or other programmes.
Any help would be appreciated!
Peter
