Anyone who needs to search for patent data on the web is welcome to join a clinic. If you are completely
new to patents, it will help if you do a little background reading to make yourself familiar with the basic concepts of the
system - try the UK Patent Offices website . If you have done some searching already
but would like to know a bit more about the files available and want to improve your search techniques you should find the
clinics very useful. Clinics run from 2.30pm to 5pm. These are free sessions. From 2.30pm to 3.00pm we give a tour of the Reading Rooms with the clinic proper starting at 3.10pm.
