This workshop offers practical guidance on how to find and evaluate Web based statistical, market research and industry information. Both free and fee based services are covered. There will also be sessions on how to gather information from various resources to build up a picture of an industry sector. Throughout the day there will be practical sessions to work through guided exercises or try out your own research. The workshop is led by Karen Blakeman and is suitable for researchers who need to compile analyses of industries or markets, are responsible for competitor intelligence or are looking for potential partners, clients or suppliers
