Alternative career directions with Lib/Info MSc?

Hi All,

It's been a while since I posted here!

In the meantime I have 1.5 years of Lib/Info work experience (corporate & Govt) under my belt and am about 0.33... of the way through my MSc Information & Libary Management.

Since it appears to be getting close to job-hunting season, I wanted to ask around - does anyone have experience of / ideas about alternative career directions that might be open to me with this MSc?

I have an undergraduate (4-year) degree in Physics too, and some admin/bookselling experience... as well as fluent German (I studied there and completed a research project too)!

This may indeed sound like I am just posting my CV to some extent - however my main question is: how can one think "outside the box" when it comes to postgrad LIS careers?

I've seen a few books on the subject, but they were mainly either US-focussed or not very specific.
