Hey I am a Final Year Marketing Management Student, who needs to complete a Literature Review (1,500 words) for part of my final year Investigation Project. The main question I have developed for this is "Do Loyalty Schemes Produce Loyal Customers"? - Is this Question ok or too broad? I was considering looking into Retailing (i.e. Tesco, new Nectar Scheme etc.)
The main reason I wanted to look into this as my Investigation is because there has been an increase in compeition due to companies creating 'me-too' Loyalty schemes therefore customers have so many cards for different companies-how are they being loyal?
There is a lot of information available on Loyalty Schemes but within the Literature Review I need to 'critically assess the Literature' therefore Do I need Literature concerning those that belive Loyalty schems do produce Loyal Customers and the opposite view-that they don't produce loyal customers?
This is the first time I have done a Literature review and therefore unsure on how to approach it!
Any Comments would be very much appreciated!
Regards, Alison
