Hi, I am a final year student required to do a dissertation for undergraduate degree, have decided to do my disso about the Sarbanes-Oxley Act 2002. As there are many areas for research i.e. se404, 302 internal control and the costs of compliances, but having considered all these areas I am faced with difficulties in terms of my primary research. I don’t know how to structure my research. Since I do not I have access to any company. Can this be done without going to a company?
Also I am interested in investigating investors’ knowledge and understanding of the financial reports produced under the Sarbanes-Oxley. Is it possible to undertake such a research in the UK as companies here do not produced this accounts under this Act?
What about Auditing and the Sarbanes-Oxley act? This is interesting area too, but does anyone knows any specific topic to be investigated?
Is there any one who can help me with these problems and urgently reply to my request. I would really appreciate it?
