Information page: http://web.fumsi.com/go/report/find/1077

Information from and about the Asia-Pacific region has never been in higher demand. New resources, websites and content products appear every month. For researchers seeking to understand the resources available to them, as well as the particular challenges of research in the region, the volume of information can be overwhelming.

The newly published FUMSI Report, Asia-Pacific Research Resources, offers a convenient introduction to products and resources in and about the region on a variety of important topics, including industry information, company information, news, time series data, consumer markets and more.

Asia-Pacific Research Resources was edited and expanded by Jenny Zhan, based on a portfolio of research originally compiled by Pam Foster for the February 2007 issue of VIP Magazine (http://web.vivavip.com/go/vip/39), which focused on products serving the region. Zhan updated that information and added to it her commentary, as well as a number of new resources, appendices and insight based on her experience with the customs, business norms and research practices in the region.

In addition to guidance on high-quality resources, the report includes an index to all URLs cited in the report, links to other resources including industry associations and other materials published by Free Pint Limited, and extracts from relevant in-depth product reviews published in VIP magazine http://www.vivaVIP.com/.

Asia-Pacific Research Resources is the third publication in the Regional Research Series; the first was European Research Resources, compiled by Adrian Janes and published in September 2007, and the second was Middle East and North Africa Research Resources, compiled by Patrice Curtis and published in October 2007. Future issues will cover Latin America and other emerging markets.
