xrefer wins FreePint Award for Innovative Customer Service
xrefer have been announced as the winners of the 2003 FreePint/Online
Information award for innovative customer service. Nominations for the
award were invited from FreePint's 65,000 members worldwide and a
judging panel reviewed all entries.

A cutglass 'pint' trophy was awarded to Adam Hodgkin, President and
Founder of xrefer, by William Hann, Founder and Managing Editor of
FreePint, at the International Information Industry Awards Gala Dinner
on 3rd December 2003.
Hann said, "xrefer are deserved winners of this year's award. They
have demonstrated that customer service is all about acting upon
customer feedback throughout the whole organisation and keeping all
employees and customers in the product development and support loop".
xrefer was a clear winner, with a citation including comments that
they "... have always been very responsive to our queries and
suggestions. They have taken on board usability issues ... and have
consulted us about what subject areas we would like to see covered and
about what particular sources we would like added ... good value for
money ... the subject range is broad - making it popular with
information professionals and our broad base of users."
