European Research Resources
Researchers seeking information in and about Europe and the European
Union face the challenges of many resources, many languages, and few
guides for their work. The newly published FUMSI Report, European
Research Resources, offers a convenient introduction to web-based
resources in a variety of important topics: government, news,
companies and industries and more.
European Research Resources was prepared by frequent FreePint
contributor Adrian Janes, following publication of his highly popular
article, "Finding Facts: The European Union after 50 Years"
http://www.freepint.com/issues/220307.htm#tips in March 2007. The new
report builds on the initial work of that article and expands into the
many other areas of interest to analysts, researchers and other
information practioners.
In addition to Janes' guidance on quality online resources, the report
includes an index to all URLs cited in the report, links to other
resources including industry associations and other materials
published by Free Pint Limited, and extracts from relevant in-depth
product reviews published in VIP magazine http://www.vivaVIP.com/.
