Free Pint at Online Information 2001, Olympia, London, 4-6th December 2001.

The Free Pint stand at Online Information 2001 took a more "wine bar" theme this year. Another major difference to previous years was that the only thing we hired this time was a single power socket. Everything else has been made or bought for Free Pint and so we can re-use it for other shows.	Click for larger version
Click for larger version	The large blue letters "F r e e P i n t" at the back of the stand looked as though they were suspended in mid-air. It took visitors quite a while to work out how they had been suspended. Suggestions were made that we had a clear plastic screen onto which they had been placed, or that they were on stalks from the back wall. Actually they were on fishing line with a 6lb breaking strain. Very effective.
These photos were taken before the show opened, hence there weren't any visitors at that time. Whenever it was busy we were all chatting to people, and so didn't get a chance to take photos. Can you guess what the bar will be transformed into on it's return to the Free Pint offices?	Click for larger version
